Women - our leadership and empowerment is a global theme.  Let's get to work and do it justice!

Welcome to Pursue U

Welcome to Pursue U!  I started this blog to help young women (ages 18-30) discover who they are, where they want to go and how they can get there. Much of the content here can be useful for that demographic AND people of all ages.  So I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful, no matter how old you are.  

For five years I have also been working with women and men in business settings.  The brand I've used for this work is AWARE Co which is the parent company of Pursue U.  AWARE Co is all about the multi-faceted levels of awareness in our lives: 

• Awareness of the present moment in order to get clear, focused and less stressed
• Awareness of our purpose, vision, strengths, values, style, interests, EQ, goals 
• Awareness of what’s going on inside our teams and organizations 
• Awareness of our business strategy 
• Awareness of our influence and impact on the world

AWARE Co has worked with:

• Individuals - coaching men and women professionals from early career to the executive level; and 
• Companies - helping with strategy, including sales and marketing.

I do lots of training and coaching through the Women's Vision Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping women become enlightened leaders and companies create inclusive cultures.  www.womensvision.org

And most recently, I have started classes at Iliff School of Theology.  I'm pursuing a Masters in Divinity with a concentration in Social Justice and Peace. 

The good news is that all these pursuits follow the same theme - knowing ourselves and pursuing what we care about so we can make the world a better place.
